Education

To fulfill our role as advocates, we must become educated about breast cancer… its causes and potential cures along with diagnostics and treatment options. We recommend and send our supporters to Project LEAD®, a four-day intensive scientific training course on breast cancer and advocacy. We award Education Grants for programs that empower women to play an active role in their breast health with particular interest in programs that target individuals with language and cultural barriers; individuals who live in underserved areas; and intervention that engages health care professionals.

You, too, can learn more about breast cancer. Make a donation of $50 of more and receive our e-newsletter bi-monthly.
